Vogue reported that Creative director, Amy Smilovic, is a big believer in holding onto your clothes and has little patience for disposable trends. Her fall collection debuted timeless pieces for the classic, sophisticated lady.
Prabal Gurung
Inspired by Gurung’s trips to Nepal and India, colorful textiles painted the runway on 70s styled silhouettes. Layers of beautiful designs draped over form fitting dresses and brocade trousers.
J. Mendel
Gilles Mendel’s philosophy is “The more conservative look, he believes, is a reaction against trends and disposability.” His collection featured fur necklines on floor length evening gowns and timeless leather coats. The polished, uptown look will never go out of style.
Theory
Francesco Fucci has a great appreciation for the classic and this season was tailored for the traditional woman. The fall collection is this filled with demure silhouettes in shades beiges and ivory.

Wes Gordon described the vibrant pallette of collection as “happy colors”. He said “together they painted a picture of youthfulness and unstructured wade.”
