One of the most covetable trends this season is monochrome. It's been popular the last few seasons and is returning in spring summer 2021 with new cuts, proportions, and fabrics. There's something so alluring about wearing one color. It looks effortless and refined, and stays classic as other trends come and go.

Though the monochrome may sound simple, this a very versatile trend. There are plenty of ways to show your personal style using one color, mixing hemlines and playing with varying textiles. Many designers this season showed monochrome looks, coordinating different shades of the same gradient or mix and matching layers of fabric in a unicolor approach.

This is the perfect trend in a time when everything seems to be uncertain and we're unsure of when we will get the chance to go out and show off our new pieces from the next season. With this in mind, comfort is key and timeless pieces are the staple of the season. Monochrome provides a fresh and modern take on minimalist style.
