David Koma Fall Winter 2021

David Koma is a London based designer known for his sexy, body contouring silhouettes for women. The Georgian designer got his start in the fashion industry as the creative director of Mugler from the years 2013 to 2017. His own brand has since then taken off and he has been designing statement dresses and pieces for his celebrity clientele. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, and Cara Delevingne are among some of his A-list clients who love his iconic, red carpet looks. This season, Koma turned to NASA and the space age for inspiration. Dresses and jumpsuits in galaxy blue and Martian green were constructed with futuristic proportion. The first looks revealed hypnotic prints and dripping metal chains. Sequins and mesh bustier tops were paired with asymmetrical, over-the-knee boots. Stripes and slits created texture in party dresses, while circular cut outs added some depth. David Koma's collection is right in time for the reopening of cities, hopefully next autumn. His line has us all looking forward to a sexy, stylish night out on the town!
