 Gabriela Hearst Fall Winter 2021: The Earthy and the Worldly in Energetic Balance

If I could live in one designer this autumn, it would be Gabriela Hearst Fall Winter 2021 collection. The classic, black leather trench coat was accented with fringe and frills, timeless camel coats were sewn in new cuts and proportions, and Japanese silk florals were painted on floor-length, prêt à porter dresses. Three dimensional flowers cascaded down skirt sets in spring colors and hand-crafted knits in a rainbow of stripes and geometric shapes resonated with Gabriela Hearst's "earthly instincts", the inspiration for her collection. The intention of the line was to channel sustainability and "green power" in an industry that's leaning towards a system of greater ecological integrity.
