David Koma's AW24 runway way show at London Fashion Week was held in Marylebone on February 17th. Fashion journalists, editors, buyers and influencers filled the dimly lit hall at the University of Westminster for an exquisite display from the well loved designer. The star studded front row boasted glamorous pieces from the designer's SS24 collection, showing the widespread appeal and influence of Koma's aesthetic. The collection blended edginess and elegance, reflecting the designer's commitment to empowering women in creative realms.

Koma's collection drew inspiration from neo-expressionist dance pioneer Pina Bausch and contemporary Spanish artist Candela Capitan, resulting in a mesmerizing exploration of light and movement. The models were styled with minimalist and maximalist pieces in contrasting colors, offering a diverse range of options for fashion enthusiasts. Evening dresses were adorned with feathered hemlines, mesh tops were paired with beaded skirts, and marabou scarves added an element of texture and depth to classic wardrobe staples.

The designer's ability to integrate contrasting elements was evident in every detail, creating an ensemble that was both bold and refined. The AW24 collection not only showcased Koma's mastery of his craft but also celebrated the strength and individuality of women in the world of fashion.
