Remembering Chris von Wangenheim 

Hosted by Marie Audier D'Alessandris and The Selects Gallery in New York, the works of iconic fashion and beauty photographer, Chris von Wangenheim, are brought back to life. He shot supermodels such as Lisa Taylor, Gia Carangi and his wife and muse, Regine Jaffry for Vogue, Interview and many other celebrated publications throughout his short career. Chris von Wangenheim brought a dark, provocative flare to previously modest editorial shots and transformed the world of high fashion during an era encapsulated by sex, punk, and drugs.   

During this virtual exhibition, make up artist, Sandy Linter, and former creative director of Interview Magazine, Marc Balet, recount their stories and experiences working with Chris von Wangenheim in the 1970s in New York and the inspiration behind his genius photographs.
