We were all fantasizing about a European holiday dancing around in fields of flowers in the Italian countryside wearing Badgley Mischka’s new spring summer 2021 collection. Romantic florals, ornate accessories painted in the colors of the Amalfi coast in Italy will be the shift we want to see when the pandemic is over. The photoshoot was set in a lush garden with a gazebo and a coy pond, which served as the perfect backdrop to showcase her new collection. Day dresses with sleek silhouettes in emerald green and turquoise were draped down to the grass where the models stood. The highlight of Mischka’s collections, her exquisite evening wear, was shot against rose bushes and underneath a garden trellis with the sunlight peaking through the leaves. In the final look, a model wore a pale pink dress with an Elizabethan ruffle collar and a wide bow waist synched at the waist suspending down the from the ensemble. The elegance and glamour of the collection was colored by nostalgia, arousing a lust for summer travels and enchanting evenings.
